PHP vs MYSQL

1. PHP 

PHP is a server-side scripting language that has its main implementation in web development. However, it can be used as a general-purpose programming language. PHP was originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995 and it is currently managed by The PHP Group. PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page, however it was later renamed. It now stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, a recursive acronym. PHP is free software released under the PHP License, as is incompatible with the GNU General Public License (GPL) due to restrictions on the usage of the term PHP.

PHP is an open source, server-side, HTML embedded scripting language. It can basically perform any task that other CGI programs can, but it is mainly used to create dynamic Web pages. Its main advantage is that it is compatible with many types of databases. Furthermore, PHP can talk across networks using IMAP, SNMP, NNTP, POP3, or HTTP.

PHP includes a command-line interface capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications. PHP commands can be embedded directly into an HTML source document rather than calling an external file to process data. In the HTML document, the PHP script is enclosed within special PHP tags. Due to these tags, the programmer can alternate between HTML and PHP instead of having to rely on heavy amounts of code to output HTML. Also, as PHP is executed on the server, the client cannot view the PHP code.

2. MYSQL

MySQL, on the other hand, is an open source relational database management system (RDBMS). MySQL is officially pronounced as "My S-Q-L", but it is also called "My Sequel". It is named after co-founder Michael Widenius' daughter, My. SQL stands for Structured Query Language. MySQL is the world's most used RDBMS, and runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases. MySQL was owned and sponsored by a single for-profit firm, the Swedish company MySQL AB, which is now owned by Oracle Corporation.

MySQL is a popular choice of database for use in web applications. It is a central component of the widely used ‘LAMP’ open source web application software stack, as well as other AMP stacks. LAMP stands for "Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python." MySQL is often used by free-software-open source projects that require a full-featured database management system, such as TYPO3, Joomla, WordPress, phpBB, MyBB, Drupal, etc. MySQL is also used in many high-profile, large-scale World Wide Web products, including Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Nokia.com, and YouTube.

3. DIFFERENCES 

The main difference between PHP and MySQL is that PHP is a scripting language, whereas MySQL is a relational database management system. They are two completely different things and hence are used for two different purposes.

As stated, PHP is a server-side scripting language. A server-side scripting language allows the user to embed little programs or scripts into the HTML of a Web page. In executing, such scripts allow the user to control what will actually appear in the browser window. These scripts more flexible than what is possible using straight HTML.

MySQL, on other hand, is a RDBMS, which allows the integration of a database either on the web or on a server. It can often be used in collaboration with PHP or other scripting languages such as JavaScript.

SQL DML

1. What does Data Manipulation Language(DML) Mean?

A data manipulation language (DML) is a family of computer languages including commands permitting users to manipulate data in a database. This manipulation involves inserting data into database tables, retrieving existing data, deleting data from existing tables and modifying existing data. DML is mostly incorporated in SQL databases.

2. The functional capability of DML is organized in manipulation commands:

• SELECT: This command is used to retrieve rows from a table. The syntax is SELECT [column name(s)] from [table name] where [conditions]. SELECT is the most widely used DML command in SQL.


• UPDATE: This command modifies data of one or more records. An update command syntax is UPDATE [table name] SET [column name = value] where [condition].


• INSERT: This command adds one or more records to a database table. The insert command syntax is INSERT INTO [table name] [column(s)] VALUES [value(s)].


• DELETE: This command removes one or more records from a table according to specified conditions. Delete command syntax is DELETE FROM [table name] where [condition].

MySQL Intro

1. WHAT IS DATABASE ?

A database is a separate application that stores a collection of data. Each database has one or more distinct APIs for creating, accessing, managing, searching and replicating the data it holds.

Other kinds of data stores can also be used, such as files on the file system or large hash tables in memory but data fetching and writing would not be so fast and easy with those type of systems.

Nowadays, we use relational database management systems (RDBMS) to store and manage huge volume of data. This is called relational database because all the data is stored into different tables and relations are established using primary keys or other keys known as Foreign Keys.

2. MYSQL DATABASE 

MySQL is a fast, easy-to-use RDBMS being used for many small and big businesses. MySQL is developed, marketed and supported by MySQL AB, which is a Swedish company. 

3. WHY MYSQL IS SO POPULAR? 

• - MySQL is released under an open-source license. So you have nothing to pay to use it.
• - MySQL is a very powerful program in its own right. It handles a large subset of the functionality of the most expensive and powerful database packages.
• - MySQL uses a standard form of the well-known SQL data language.
• - MySQL works on many operating systems and with many languages including PHP, PERL, C, C++, JAVA, etc.
• - MySQL works very quickly and works well even with large data sets.
• - MySQL is very friendly to PHP, the most appreciated language for web development.
• - MySQL supports large databases, up to 50 million rows or more in a table. The default file size limit for a table is 4GB, but you can increase this (if your operating system can handle it) to a theoretical limit of 8 million terabytes (TB).
• - MySQL is customizable. The open-source GPL license allows programmers to modify the - MySQL software to fit their own specific environments.

PHP

1. The PHP echo Statement

The echo statement can be used with or without parentheses: echo or echo().

4. Save file to local disk c - xampp - htdocs - dashboard

FAV YOUTUBE CHANNELS 📹 VLOGS

Hello guys. Welcome to my new entry 😸 

In this post, i would like to tell u guys about my favourite youtube channels. 

Actually, I never know about vlogs and never have interest to watch it. But, in the previous semester (semester 4), i have to do a vlog for Technology video digital class assignments. So, i explore all the vlogs in youtube and found several vlogs. I try to watch it and suddenly i feel like i want to watch more and more #igotaddicted. 

So the first youtube channel i love to watch is CUPCAKE AISYAH youtube channel. I love all her videos. Although she is only 18, she had already won an award in Influence Asia 2017 as a Top Lifestyle Influencer.

Next, i started to watch Neelofas' (actors and host) sister, ATHISHA KHAN channel. 

She is 19 and very beautiful. She looks so matured.  I love watching her speaking in english. It is so good. She influence me to start talking and writing in english. hehe 

I also love love love to watch FAAFIRDS youtube channel. This one is my current fav. I try to watch all her videos. So many. Watching her make up tutorial videos make me want to try wearing make up  too. I also love to watch her videos with her husband, afif. They look so good together!.

Next one is NISHA EZZATI @ SAMPRIT vlogs. Actually nisha is Faafirds best friend. So while watching FAA vlogs, i started to watch her vlogs too hahahaha. I love watching her shawl tutorial because it is simple and i can wear it daily. She is so good in wearing make up. She talks a lot and her little bit clumsy make all her videos so funny haha i enjoy watching it.

The last one is VIVY YUSOF vlogs. She just started vlogging. But i already enjoyed watching it. She try so hard to make her vlogs interesting.The OOTD tips that she gave is so useful. Thankyou vivy huhu

Actually, there are so many youtube channel that i watched but the one that i listed here is all my favourite channel. I watched their vlogs everyday if i have free time. If u guys have time, try to watch their channel also okay.

Hello guys *waving hands* 

Okay in this posts, i would like to tell u guys about my not-so-big but havoc family. 

Welcome to Haji Ismail Group family. (its actually our family group name in whatsapp) haha. This picture is taken during Eid 2016. I have 5 siblings. Two brothers and two sisters. I am the last. #notmanjaokay. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephew. They all called me "mah". Not feeling to tell u guys why they called me like that because the story is so long. (if i got time, i will tell u guys later okay) sorry hehe. 

So first of all, this is my parents. Haji Ismail and Hajah Rohaya. My parents went to haji in 2013. Alhamdulillah syukur cause they had been there. My father was born in 1950. My father is a pensioner. He was a headmaster before this. My mother is a full time housewife. My mother was born in 1957. She is 60 years old this year. 

I love to see both of them taking care of each other and love each other. I hope one day, when i am married, i can be like them also 😊.  Insya allah.

This is my first brothers' family. My brother name is Syamsul Anuar. He works as a contractor. He's married with my sister in law, Kak suzi in 2012 if im not mistaken. My brother have 3 child. The first one is my nephew, Daniel Haikal. We called him Danny for short. He just finish his PT3. Please pray for him guys. His second child is Natalia Idora. We called her Ira. She's 14 this year. And the last one is Marsya Idayu and we called her Marsya. Shes 3 years old this year (if im not mistaken again). Sorry guys. So many things i dont remember. Such a bad aunt haha. 

This is my second brothers' family. My brother name is Nor Hafiz and we called him 'bangah' (cause he is the second). My sister in law name is Normazila and we called her 'kak zila'. Again i forget when they married. HAHA 😞 I think it was in 2008 when i was in standard 6. yes yes. They have 2 child. One boy and one girl. The first one is Luqman Hakim and the second one is Aisyah Imani. 

Andddd this is my #1 annoying sister. Kaklang. Her name is Intan Safina and she works as a teacher. Born in 1984 and still single. Its good u know when your sister doesnt married yet cause you can spend so many times with them. hehe joking. When the times comes, i hope she is married to the one who really loves her as much as we love her 💘

Last. This is my #2 annoying sister. CT. Her name is Siti Nadira and now she works at Majlis Agama Islam Melaka (MAIM). She is 32 years old. Okay i admit she is so nice cause she loves to treats me.  So full of confidence and easy to communicate with people. I hope i can be like her too. She just got married in March this year. My brother in law name is Adini Aswad. Till jannah okay 💕. I LOVE THIS PHOTO SO MUCH I DONT KNOW WHY. Goodjob photographer huhu

 My name is Khairunnisa Ismail. You can called me "Nisa" for short. I'm 21 years old.I lived in Alor Gajah, Melaka. I was born on 12 August 1996 in Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru. My zodiac is Leo. Not single but still not married to anyone 😁. My current favourite colour is black (and its keep changing). Lol. I enjoy making new friends but too shy to start a conversation (yes i admit it) #prayfornisa. I am not 'sombong' okay. If u guys know me well, u will now how crack and happy go lucky i am. What I do during my free times? 

During my free time, i love to watch kdrama (gonna do kdrama review later) and vlogs on youtube. I also love editing . Whenever i feel bored, i will edit my photos using vscocam apps and upload it on instagram and also my own vsco account. I will show it to u guys later. Insya allah. I also loves editing videos. I use splice apps to edit my videos because it is simple and easy to use.

But actually i waste my time everyday updating and checking my social media. YES its true. I mean i cant live without my social media especially twitter. I will update my twitter everyday. Yes everyday. What i feels, where i go, i will update it there. So go follow me on twitter later hehehe. Same goes to instagram. But what makes instagram different than twitter is I DONT UPDATE my instagram everyday. But once i update it, i  will upload more than one pictures at a time 😇 #prayfornisa
